Bhairavgad Moroshi Adventure Trek. Located in Malshej Ghat, Bhairavgad is without a doubt one of the most thrilling adventure treks in Maharashtra. It derives its name from a rock face called dyke. Located at the height of 1145 meters above the sea level, it truly is a spectacular façade of immense beauty. Bhairavgad fort is located in Moroshi Village of Thane, Maharashtra. Bhairavgad is a fort which is believed to be around 2500 years old.  Mostly the fort has ruins and remains on top. While climbing from East side of fort you will see stairs which are fallen or broken apart, apparently those were destroyed by Britishers for not letting anyone use the fort.

This trek is going to be your once in a lifetime experience as you will be taking the adventure to the next level. Traveling along the Malshej Ghat road, you will be noticing a sharp pinnacle of Bhairavgad which is separated from the main range. The top offers a great view of Malshej Ghats, NaneGhat, Jivdhan and many prominent peaks like Ajoba and Harishchandragad. There are many Bhairavgad Forts at different places in Maharashtra, but the Bhairavgad of Moroshi village in Malshej Ghat is the most challenging of them all!
